How do I add another checking or savings account?

You can apply for another FAIR account directly through online banking.

If you would like to do this on your own,you can follow the steps below:

  1. Select "Menu"
  2. Select "Apply Today"
  3. Select "Deposit Account" (which includes checking and savings accounts)
  4. The application for the new account will open with some of your information pre-filled. Please complete any of the required fields and click "Continue". 
  5. Next, select the accounts you want to apply for. An additional option for eStatements will appear. Please check this option if you would like to receive your bank statements for free electronically. Otherwise, you will receive paper bank statements monthly for a fee of $1.50. Then, click "Continue".
  6. Next, fill in the information for the anticipated account usage. Please note that no one will hold you to the amounts entered, so just use your best guess. Then, click "Continue".
  7. Next, click on each of the disclosures links to read the terms and conditions in the pop ups, then check the boxes that you have read them.
  8. Under "Funding Amount" type in at least the minimum amount of $25 and then select the "Funding Source" and fill in any required information. Please note that you have 30 days from the approval of the account to deposit the minimum $25 in order to open the new account.
  9. Finally, click "Submit Application". You will see a confirmation page which has your new account number highlighted in yellow and the account status will say approved If this is not the case, please contact us so we can resolve the issue. Your new account may take 24 hour to appear in the online banking portal.
  10. The rest of the information on the page is not necessary to complete. However, if you would like to print or save a deposit slip, you can do so. Please note that you will lose access to this saved application after 30 days.
